Today, as we celebrated the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., we all reflected on how his desire for change affected our lives today. Dr. King stood as a phenomenal figure during the Civil Rights Movement, standing for peace and justice. During those devastating years of the Civil Rights Movement, many believed that Dr. King’s hopeful stance on change for America was nearly impossible. But, was his dream impossible? No, not at all. Not with God on his side. And not with God on our side today.
Darlings, I tell you, we serve a mighty mighty God, as Dr. King would say. A God of possibilities and impossibilities. He can make your IMPOSSIBLE, POSSIBLE. Believe that. I’m a woman of faith and I deeply believe that God can take nothing and turn it into something! Let us not let our circumstances blind our limitless amount of possibilities as Dr. King didn’t let the government, KKK’s, or any other force of evil blind his vision. I know for what I want in my future it seems impossible, but God works in mysterious and miraculous ways, I tell you. Let it be so.
So today, I challenge you to believe that change is possible, as Dr. King did.
I challenge you to stop limiting yourself, as Dr. King did.
I challenge you to believe in yourself, as Dr. King did.
I challenge you to step out on faith in your dreams, as Dr. King did.
I challenge you to overcome your circumstances and move your mountains, as Dr. King did.
I challenge you to believe in the impossible, as Dr. King did.
