Patience is a Luxury

My my my.

That’s all I can say right now.

Today, I was blessed with an amazing opportunity which I just had to praise God for.  God truly showed up and showed out! He always show up, but the problem is that it’s not on our timing.  We want God to move when WE think He should, but my friend, ohhhhhhhhh, it doesn’t work like that.  Never has.  Never will.

I’ve been praying and waiting for an opportunity to come my way and today, it finally has! I’ve been in the dark (the struggle) for a minute.  It’s been CRAZY these last couple of months; it would take too long to tell you all everything, just know that it has been crazy.  But, I tell you, being patient and trusting God wears off.

Being patient.  Having patience. Patience.

How many of us actually have a good dose of patience?

*Looks around room (cricket cricket)*

Right.  Not too many of us do.  However, patience is crucial to any movement forward.  No, it’s not easy.  These last couple of months wasn’t easy.  Now, instant gratification doesn’t move me, but I’m not trying to wait for the next 100 years for something to happen though.  I’ll be wrinkled up, looking like Moses by then, getting ready to part the Atlantic Ocean. LOL! Alright, Alright.  I’ll stop.

Ok, back on track.

Patience truly is a virtue.  And darlings, if there is a dream you are chasing and are ready for it to manifest, have patience and don’t give up.  Keep your eyes on the prize.  Trust God because anything can happen, but it has to be in the RIGHT time.  If the timing is off, it won’t work.  You never know who could be involved in your blessing because if others are involved, you have to wait until they get aligned to God’s will (if what you want is even in God’s will).  So don’t get weary; have patience.  You will make it.  Your blessing is here.  Mine is here and I’m ready.

“Put it in writing, because it is not yet time for it to come true.  But the time is coming quickly, and what I show you will come true. It may seem slow in coming, but wait for it; it will certainly take place, and it will not be delayed.” – Habakkuk 2:3 NIV
