    Oh I like it a lot, for three reasons. First, I’m instantly attracted to it because its a portrait that doesn’t show the subject’s face. To me such faceless portraits suggest imagination and flair on the part of the photographer and model, and I value those traits enormously. And having the hair obscuring the face like this works very well. Then second, I like the positions of the hands; this is a pose, but its low key, and it looks calm and natural. And third, the simple “black and white” clothes and pale backdrop bring simplicity – usually a valuable thing – to the shot; and I very much like the way that the model’s top almost merges with that pale backdrop.
