Dreams Do Come True: St. Thomas Edition

Day after Wedding 2Ahhh it’s been a week since I left St. Thomas for my best friend’s wedding. This picture was literally taken last Sunday at the hotel, the day after her wedding (look at that AMAZING view behind us!).  You know we’re close when we spent the whole day hanging out the day after the wedding, LOL! But, nonetheless, much CONGRATS to my best friend for getting married and having the wedding of her dreams.  We’ve DREAMED and TALKED about this moment FOREVER, and to watch it happen last Saturday was beyond AMAZING!

Dreams do come true. I witnessed one last weekend 🙂

Happy Sunday!

Standing In Awe of God’s Beauty

St. Thomas beachAs the nights are getting colder in NYC, I can only stay sane by reflecting insurmountably about the blazing heat I experienced last weekend in St. Thomas.  The view of the ocean in this picture doesn’t even come close to the natural marvel itself in person.  I’m actually standing on the top of a cliff in a pool at the hotel where the wedding was held.  Just standing in awe of God’s beauty.  On a fashion note, normally I match my swimsuit pieces top and bottom, but on my last day of my mini vacation, I decide to swap my black bottoms for my purple ones which happens to my favorite color by the way.  And just to be funky, always add a print mix to a solid color; it’s more eye appealing.  Trust me. Stand out.  You won’t regret it. Be inspired:)

Bridal Shower Edition

Hey darlings! I hope you all have been staying warm as the weather has been changing (ughhhhhh).  This past weekend, I had a marvelous time in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands which was incredibly beautiful.  Oh, my best friend got married on Saturday! And yes, it was a destination wedding!  I’ll be sharing some of the pics from my mini vacation over the next few posts, but for now I’ll be catching you up on some other things.

To start, during Labor Day Weekend, my best friend had her bridal shower back home in St. Louis which was amazing.  And of course, I didn’t have anything appropriate for the occasion, so I called my good friend Hannah for an emergency attire suggestion in which this beautiful dress surfaced.  I actually thought I was going to be overdressed, but hey I rather be overdressed than underdressed (Fashion Rule #2).  Because of this knockout color, simple shoes could only bring the entire look together.  And because of the rich orange and we were going into Fall, I thought brown was a suitable color (I’m actually not too fond of the color brown, but it worked here!)  Take a look and be inspired 🙂Bridal Shower Edition

Central Park Sneak Peek

Hey darlings,  I recently did a shoot in Central Park that was super dope!  Great things came out of it.  I even challenged myself and my creativity and of course, it resulted in something totally unexpected.  I’m super excited in showing the art but in the meantime, here’s a sneak peek of what’s to come!  Be inspired!

And for all you creative folks, tell me what you think 🙂
