AMOL: Long Tall Sally Clothing Pop-Up Shop Event

Good Morning darlings!

I hope everyone had a great weekend! Mine’s was refreshing which was much needed (I’ll write about it in the next post, so look out for that).  But, I attended the Pop-Up Shop event for Long Tall Sally, a clothing line for tall women!  First, I didn’t even know this clothing line even existed.  And secondly, all of their clothes were tailored to fit all of us 6 feet wonders!  Yes, I nearly 6’0 ft, if you haven’t noticed by now in my pictures. Depending on which doctor I visit, I’m either 5’11 or 6’0ft, but whatever.  Just know know I’m in that category.  Anyways, I was super stoked because I have THE hardest time finding pants to the point, I hardly wear pants.  If do wear pants, it’s mainly leggings.  I actually now have only 2 pair of jeans (I bought my 2nd pair two weeks ago from Ann Taylor – they’re really ankle pants on me lol).   Seriously.  However, this clothing line consisted of an array of dresses, denim, trousers, blazers, shoes, and much more.  Surprisingly, that day, the only shoe sizes that were available on site were 12 and up! Crazily, I didn’t even know we had women shoe sizes greater than 12!  Overall, It was awesome to run through all the racks like a little girl and try on their amazing dresses as well as connect with other beautiful tall women.  The continental breakfast provided was a plus too (because Lord knows I was hungry!! lol).  So, for all of you tall women or those who know tall women, I highly recommend Long Tall Sally.  Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!  You can visit their website @

See below for pics from the event!

You see the denim lengths just hanging off the table?! Yeaaa

Tops. Trousers. And tall women!

The back of this GORGEOUS dress!

Relax! There’s hope for us tall women! I’m actually standing on my tippy toes! Praise the Lord – no more high water pants! Lol!

This was seriously the BEST dress in there! Spring, are you here yet???

Connected with another tall beauty and blogger (! She was so sweet!

Day 4: NYFW

It’s my time, so don’t be surprised.
I plan to conquer the world, one day at a time and so should you. We have everything we need inside of us to do so. So let’s conquer this world and look good at it too! Be inspired;)

The Signature: Case of the Black Hat

Hey darlings,

Saturday’s musings consisted of running through the city! And of course, it was Valentine’s Day, so love was in the air all cross the border. And speaking of love, this black hat, that I dearly LOVE, has really become my signature – you’ll find me wearing this hat throughout my blog posts. However, you WON’T find me wearing it the same way nor with the same outfit. The trick is to wear the hat differently with various styles – versatility is CRUCIAL when purchasing a hat! Therefore, I encourage you to select a hat that allows you to be creative in your attire. Be inspired 😉

*Oh and one of my musings consisted of frolicking at the beautiful famous Waldorf Astoria hotel. Yeaaaaaaaa it’s an amazing place to be!*

Attire: Dress – Vince Camuto (I found this baby at Marshalls!)
Belt – I haven’t the clue where I got it from (oops lol)
Boots – Nine West
Hat – H&M

New York: Floral Chic

Oh New York. New York.

I have a love/hate relationship with you. Sometimes you drive me crazy being stuck underground on the subway train for more than 15 minutes. Sometimes you make me mad when I forget to move my car to the other side of the street by 10 minutes and I find a parking ticket given by the NYPD undeservingly. No mercy. But, then I love you so much because of the eclectic people here and I learn so much from the different cultures. And I also love you so dearly for giving me so much inspiration in this fashion capital.

Oh New York. New York.

Today’s outfit was inspired by my love/hate relationship with New York City (if you live here, then you know what I mean). The concrete jungle. Instead of being too fancy with this multi-floral skirt, I decided to pair it up with this dope sweatshirt (I love the quilted padded look on the sleeves). And of course, I paired it up with my favorite beat down boots (bury me in these please!). This entire attire is quite chic and comfy with a subtle glam. Really, anyone can try this, it’s not just for the young. Be inspired.
