The End of A Matter is Better Than Its Beginning

“The end of a matter is better than its beginning, and patience is better than pride.” Ecc 7:8

This scripture immediately popped in my head this morning because today signifies the ending of a chapter: today’s my last day at my job that I’ve been at for the past 2 years.  I took a leap of faith and resigned because I believe that there’s GREATER out there for me.  I’ve completed my assignment and gotten all that I could out of this job and learned some valuable lessons in the midst of it all.  I’m elated in beginning a new chapter of my life: living on purpose, doing what I’m called to do.  I thank God for releasing me from this valley because it’s been a long time coming.  Really it has.  But, I’m now ready to climb the mountain all the way to the top.  I have this ever-present burning desire for GREATER – I’m not sure exactly what the greater is,  I just know I’m being pulled towards it.  Honestly, I don’t know where I’m going but I’m trusting God that He has a plan and that I’m right where I’m suppose to be.  Literally, all I have is my faith and the vision God gave me.  And that’s what I’m going after.  I can no longer settle for a mediocre life or mediocre things.  I want the BEST. And I believe as long as I follow God’s will for my life, I’ll get the BEST. For HE does delights in the prosperity of His people.
